Who is Roger Scott?
I recently had the chance to interview Roger on my YouTube channel. It went really well, and I learned a lot about him!

Roger has many interesting stories as he has lived a very interesting life. Here is a summary…
Roger Scott’s journey into stock trading began in the early ’90s when a college friend introduced him to short-term stock trading.
After just a few weeks of observing the market alongside his friend, Roger realized he had found his true passion. He was so captivated by it that he would leave his classes to use a payphone and call his broker for stock quotes.
Despite earning a law degree from the University of La Verne in 1998, Roger never pursued a legal career. His love for the markets led him down a different path.
After years of self-study in technical analysis, risk control, money management, and systematic trading, he became a registered futures broker in August 1999.
Soon after, Roger became a hedge fund manager, and by 2000, he was trading for one of the wealthiest families in the world.
In 2002, he co-founded CHP Asset Management with Charles W. Calomiris, an economist at Columbia University, and Kevin Hasset, a former senior advisor to President Donald Trump.
From 2003 to 2007, Roger had the unique opportunity to work with Curtis M. Faith, one of Richard Dennis’ original “Turtles,” at Acceleration Capital.
While his hedge fund career was successful, it also came with high stress and time away from family.
In 2005, Roger launched Market Geeks, an educational company specializing in short-term and day trading strategies.
Market Geeks eventually evolved into The TradingPub, where Roger continues to serve as Senior Strategist and Co-Owner.
