Who is Mike Rykse?
Who is the man behind this new fast-paced 0DTE options strategy that’s been delivering up to 50–100% wins in under 60 minutes a day?
Mike Rykse began his trading journey in 2002 while pursuing a finance degree in college. During one of his early business classes, he quickly recognized the tremendous wealth-building potential of the stock market.
Rather than waiting to graduate to start earning, he dove into the world of options trading, drawn by the leverage it offered—allowing him to begin with a small account while still a student.
Early success fueled his decision to transition into full-time trading. Like many retail traders, Mike learned several hard lessons along the way. A pivotal moment came during a visit to the trading floor of the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE), where he realized the necessity of having a disciplined, rules-based trading system.
In 2006, he discovered the NetPicks Trading Systems and immediately became a customer. This marked a turning point in his career. The structured approach—complete with predefined entries, targets, and stop-loss levels—provided the consistency his trading had previously lacked, leading to over a decade of sustained account growth.

Mike initially used the NetPicks systems to day trade bond and U.S. index futures. While the fast-paced nature of day trading was exciting, he soon found that swing trading better suited his personality. This realization prompted his move into the options market, where he truly found his niche.
In 2008, Mike joined the NetPicks team as a trading coach. He quickly established himself as the in-house options expert and has served as Lead Options Instructor since 2009. Over the years, he has mentored thousands of traders and continues to take great pride in helping others achieve their trading goals.
He has developed several proprietary options trading strategies now used by more than 2,100 traders across over 10 countries. In October 2018, Mike was named Vice President of NetPicks Trading, where he remains focused on growing the company and continuing to innovate in the trading education space.
