Who is Kane Shieh?

Kane Shieh is a former Vice President and Portfolio Manager at PIMCO, where he contributed to managing a portfolio worth $1.7 trillion, trading an average of $200 billion daily.

Over his career, Kane has collaborated with industry leaders like Bill Gross and Mohamed El-Erian and was instrumental during the 2008 financial crisis, handling CMBS trades at the core of the financial turmoil.

Kane earned his BA from UC Berkeley and an MBA in Finance from UC Irvine. During his studies, he had the chance to learn macroeconomics from Peter Navarro, who later served as an advisor in the Donald J. Trump administration, overseeing trade and manufacturing policy.

Kane has also managed investments for major companies like Disney, Apple, and Google. Now, he focuses on trading independently, sharing insights with traders worldwide, and supporting his wife’s entrepreneurial projects. In his free time, he enjoys fishing and marksmanship.

Kane Shieh is now dedicated to trading independently through TradingPub, where he shares his expertise and insights with a global community of traders.
