Who Is Kyle Henris?
Kyle is a highly accomplished individual who serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Next Door Trader, manages his own hedge fund, and boasts experience as a Certified Financial Planner.
His enthusiasm for trading began as a means to produce an existence outside of the traditional “work for 30 years and retire with just a little money” plan.
His motivation goes far beyond acquiring lavish items – he strives to create more meaningful moments with the people close to him.
He’s genuinely passionate about conveying his “Sweet Spot Trading” approach, so that others can also experience a life of joy and contentment.
Kyle Henris Starter Course
Lesson one is all about the old way of making money compared to the new way of doing things. This is the basic message: forget about the traditional way of making money and create something new by increasing your skill set with something like trading stocks or options.
He has a really nice example about what to do with $3000 and compares what could happen to your earning potential depending on what you do with that $3k.
Basically, Kyle just tells us to start a business or start trading to improve our financial position. He also shows why trading is better than index funds.
Lesson two is all about understanding how trading is one of the best businesses to start. He is really giving the case for why trading is one of the best ways to make money.
Kyle Henris Sweet Spot Trading
Introduces his ‘Sweet Spot Method’ for trading. It’s a strategy that is ment for the every day person and it’s simple and doesn’t take much time. You can start with $500 according to Kyle.
He day trades this strategy with an average length of time in a trade of only 5 minutes.
Basics of Options Trading Lessons
In this lesson, Kyle Henris provides an introduction to options trading. The video explains the basics of what an option is, and how it differs from owning stock.
He explains when and why option contracts should be used including what types of strategies they can be used for.
In particular Kyle Henris teaches what different strike and contract prices, expiration dates, and market vs limit orders are.
Decent overview of options basics and how to buy/sell them in ThinkorSwim. Overall a nice simple introduction for beginner traders.

Kyle Henris Sweet Spot Trading – The Basics
Kyle talks about how the market works, and his proprietary sweet spot trading method. He explains why the markets are constantly changing, and how to use his Sweet Spot Methodology to take advantage of these changes. He covers topics such as identifying entry points, setting targets and stops, understanding volatility, risk management and more.
His main idea is that there are supply and demand zones created by where ‘big money’ is buying or selling. These are his ‘sweet spots’.
In the starter course he teaches you where to scalp on the 5 or 15 min chart. He shows a lot of nice real example trades.
Except on closer inspection they aren’t real trades and not in real-time either.
He uses the ‘OnDemand’ feature of ThinkorSwim and basically picks particular setups that worked and used a paper trading account. If this was made clear – no problem but I’m pretty sure he claimed they were real live trades.
Risk Management
In this lesson, Kyle teaches about the importance of money management and risk management for successful trading.
He talks a lot about patience, discipline and emotional intelligence. He covers topics such as the power of compounding, position sizing, cutting losses quickly and letting profits run.
Charting Setups
This is a few videos about how to setup ThinkorSwim and Interactive Brokers.
He talks about why most traders fail and basically just says most people don’t educate themselves enough. They don’t have rules or the right proven strategy etc.
Kyle Henris Next Door Trader University
Kyle talks about what this is. He explains you get access to his ‘Sweet Spot Trading Masterclass’ for ‘serious’ people. He explains if you pay for the Kyle Henris Next Door Trader University you get a lot more detail and help on this strategy. You get a bunch of trade trackers and cheat sheets.
You also get ‘VIP community access’ which is supposedly a small community of ‘experienced traders and coaches’.
You get a pre-market game plan from Kyle every morning. You also get personal coaching etc.

Kyle Henris Next Door Trader: Conclusions
Kyle Henris provides a decent overview of the basic concepts and strategies behind trading. He includes some simple examples in his free content, but if you’re looking for more in-depth insights, you’ll need to pay for his Next Door Trader University.
Despite the claims made on websites, it’s unclear if Kyle’s ‘Sweet Spot’ trading method is a viable source of consistent income.
He does provide some useful information about risk management and the basics of options trading, but it’s impossible to judge its effectiveness without actually trying the strategy.
Ultimately, it’s up to each individual trader to determine if Kyle Henris’ Next Door Trader University is worth the investment.
