VantagePoint Software Review: Who is Founder Louis Mendelsohn?
This software was invented back in the 1980’s! The brains behind it’s development is the famous software pioneer named Louis Mendelsohn.
This guy is a legend! He created the first trading software that could do back-testing on strategies that could be run on home computers!
This was back in the 1970’s.
Louis invented VantagePoint and it is widely considered to be the first ever software that had these capabilities.
VantagePoint Software Review: What does it do?
On the surface it seems like VantagePoint doesn’t offer anything particularly revolutionary. It looks at moving averages. Many traders at least consider what the moving averages are doing, they are very common indicators for traders to consider.
The difference with VantagePoint is that they claim the software can predict the direction of moving averages up to three days before. This means that the program is predicting the trend direction early which gives you a head start.
VantagePoint can also predict the days high and lows that will most likely occur the next day.
The software also has a bunch of different predictive indicators to use as well.
Predicting the trend is very powerful because it helps you to take the right direction trade at the right time.

How Does VantagePoint Work?
The program uses relationships between SPY and other top trading instruments. The software forms a prediction for price direction based on what the other instruments are doing.
It does this with thousands of instruments including futures, etf’s, crypto and stocks. It crunches the data every night and then expresses the results as simple price prediction direction indicator.
The hope is that the AI helps you target trades going with the market trends to improve your trading performance. Reducing the uncertainty that is intrinsic to trading. Helping you to see opportunities that you might miss without it.

VantagePoint Software Review: Education
One of the nice things about the program is that it offers free live training. They give classes on how to use the software from beginner to advanced.
The educational program also teaches swing and day trading tips. There are a bunch of lessons on most of the different financial instruments from stocks to crypto trading.
VantagePoint Trading Software Review: Refund Policy
There is a refund policy, but it is very limited. It’s only a partial refund and it has to be requested within 15 days of installing the software. You have to contact them on the phone and remove the program.
I understand why they don’t want people buying the program using it for weeks and then sending it back for a refund.

They have been around for decades which is a good sign that helps the potential customer understand that this is not a fly-by-night popup company looking for fast profits just to vanish.
The track record is excellent and they have been featured in many major financial publications and even Forbes.

VantagePoint Software Review: Conclusions
It looks like VantagePoint software is legit to me. I am excited to see if it can really help my trading. The software has a strong reputation and is extremely popular.
Here is what I like about VantagePoint….
- The program interface is very user-friendly and easy to use.
- The data that you get from the program is very accurate and helps to predict what is likely going to happen in the market.
- The performance is better than just technical analysis alone. This adds significant value to your trading. The indicators work in most market conditions and cover many markets.
There aren’t many downsides to VantagePoint in my opinion. The cost can be prohibited for some traders though as the pricing ranges from $2,900 to $10,900 depending on the level you want to use. As the price increases you get more information on more sectors.
