I had a really horrible experience with GainzAlgo.
I purchased the GainzAlgo V2 ‘Essential’ Package which was $99 here.
I made this purchase because I have had some GREAT success with other indicator systems, in particular AlgoPro.
You can read my full AlgoPro review here and you can see it has been the exact opposite experience that I’ve had with GainzAlgo.
GainzAlgo talked about how the V2 was the best yet…..and only $99 for lifetime access. A few people had reached out to me and told me that the original GainzAlgo was really good at only $29 for lifetime.
So I was really excited for this really hyped up V2.
They billed this new GainzAlgo V2 Essential as the most advanced trading tool ever created by the team. They mentioned in the sales blurb that it underwent thorough back-testing and optimization, ensuring optimal performance across all markets and timeframes.

GainzAlgo Review: Sales Page
On the sales page they talked about how GainzAlgo stands out as an exceptional trading indicator.
Nevertheless, employing a trading strategy, implementing a robust risk management plan, and occasionally adjusting settings are still necessary for optimal results. However, GainzAlgo V2 eliminates this requirement.
It comes pre-optimized with the best entry/exit points, as well as Stop Loss and Take Profit levels, all clearly communicated in the alert message based on the strategy.
This all sounds great but they fail to mention one key thing – the charts are NOT marked up with the normal BUY/SELL that one might be used to with this type of indicator.
Instead, you ONLY get alerts from TradingView no signals on the actual chart.
This video shows my initial confusion and lack of support after purchasing the GainzAlgo…I reached out to support several times and they just kept telling me it’s all good setup properly but never explaining the lack of actual buy/sell signals.
Eventually, after much testing and watching videos by others online I discovered what is shown in the video below……that very limited tickers and timeframes would show back-tested results (still no real meaningful signals on the charts though).

Even worse though was that the few exact timeframe and tickers that did show back tested results were usually overall losses over the years.
Very frustratingly, there was NO $SPY alerts available which is very odd to me and annoying as I primarily trade SPY options.
The support didn’t exist – despite saying ‘we answer immediately’ lol as soon as i asked why there were no signals on the charts and eventually if I could get a refund – just no response.

GainzAlgo Review: Conclusions
Obviously, I don’t recommend GainzAlgo.
I found myself grappling with disappointment and frustration after investing in what was marketed as the GainzAlgo V2 “Essential” Package for $99. This decision was influenced by my positive experiences with other indicator systems, notably AlgoPro, which offered a massively outcome compared to my time with GainzAlgo.
The allure of GainzAlgo V2 stemmed from its promise of being the most advanced trading tool ever created by the team, coupled with a lifetime access cost of $99. This appeared particularly enticing, especially when considering that the original GainzAlgo was highly regarded at a mere $29 for a lifetime subscription. With the marketing hype surrounding the V2 version, my expectations were set high.
The sales pitch emphasized the extensive back-testing and optimization undergone by GainzAlgo V2, ensuring optimal performance across various markets and timeframes.

It was positioned as an exceptional trading indicator that eliminated the need for users to devise intricate trading strategies, implement risk management plans, or adjust settings. The tool boasted pre-optimization for entry/exit points, Stop Loss, and Take Profit levels—all of which were communicated through alert messages based on the strategy.
However, my disappointment became apparent when I realized a critical omission in the information provided. Contrary to the conventional practice of marking up charts with BUY/SELL signals, GainzAlgo V2 solely delivered alerts through TradingView without corresponding signals on the actual chart.
In an attempt to seek clarification and support, I reached out to their customer support multiple times, only to receive generic responses assuring me that everything was set up correctly. Unfortunately, my concerns about the absence of buy/sell signals on the charts remained unaddressed.
The blog post encapsulates my journey of excitement, anticipation, and ultimate disappointment with GainzAlgo V2. Despite the promising features touted in the sales pitch, the absence of visible signals on the charts left me questioning the effectiveness and user-friendliness of this trading tool.
I would recommend purchasing AlgoPro instead as I have had a stellar experience with them.
