I recently came across True Trader or TrueTrader.net when I clicked on one of their Facebook ads. It seems like I’m bombarded with more stock alerts service ads than anyone else!
Prior to this, I hadn’t heard of True Trader or Dan Parker. Intrigued, I decided to explore further and share my discoveries with all of you.

My initial impression is that Dan Parker is a legitimate trader and that his TrueTrader service is quite impressive.
In this Dan Parker review, I will share three of his recent stock alerts and provide the analysis of each, demonstrating how a REAL MEMBER was able to profit from these alerts.
My only complaint is the cost – there are many cheaper services available where you can potentially make just as much money.

Who is Dan Parker of True Trader?
I wasn’t able to find out much about who Dan Parker is exactly. However, after watching hours of his live trading recordings, I feel like I know him!
But, this doesn’t help my confidence all that much – why is there no record of him on social media? I can’t find him on Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter or anything else….

True Trader Review: How does it work?
True Trader operates as a day trading alerts service, providing some of the fastest trade alerts I’ve ever encountered. Their simple scalping strategy is challenging to replicate.
Before the market opens, Dan furnishes subscribers with a trading plan, outlining the stocks he’s monitoring and the triggers for trades.
The morning live-stream he conducts is exhilarating and fast-paced. However, emulating his trades seems daunting, as he enthusiastically announces entries and exits within minutes.
While the unique and thrilling style of live-streaming trading may captivate some, its utility for subscribers remains uncertain.
For those intrigued by this trading style, observing an expert in action could instill confidence and offer valuable insights.
Dan Parker’s preferred stocks typically exhibit straightforward patterns. Many experience dramatic price movements at the market open, which Dan capitalizes on by entering during these moves and exiting when prices correct shortly after.
While this strategy can be effective, it requires swift execution to avoid losses when trading against prevailing price directions.
Despite its challenges, this style offers several advantages:
- It maintains a good risk/reward ratio by entering trades during short-term extreme price movements, avoiding catching “falling knives.”
- TrueTrader’s winning trades often outweigh their losers significantly.

You can do this strategy and follow along as long as you can focus on the service for the hour after the market opens. This is usually when all the trades are executed – 9:30am-10:30am EST.
True Trader claims that you can ‘piggy back’ on the trades but they encourage you to learn how to find your own trades and become self-sufficient. Copying the trades seems like it would be very difficult to me because they are so fast.
In my small poll of subscribers….not many people are able to blindly replicate the trades.
What’s Included in the TrueTrader.net Subscription?
You do seem to get some decent value for your money. Here are the things that I think are quite valuable in the service.
1. They teach you the trading process that Dan uses so that you can trade without him. This is the key to longer term stock trading success.
2. Dan seems to be very patient and diligent when it comes to his pre-market analysis. He teaches you how to allow the market to come to you and how to stay disciplined. You get a trade plan 15 minutes before the market opens that includes things like buy/sell zones of particular stocks on watch. Technical indicators seem to be quite simple (a good thing!) and usually focus on just support/resistance levels.
3. Apparently, you can also personally chat with him on live trading sessions! If this is true, it is quite unique in my experience with live trading chatrooms.
4. Trading alongside an expert can help to give you the confidence to actually enter trades. New traders often lack the confidence in their ideas and fail to take action for fear of losing money.
5. There is also an end-of-day video lesson that shows you what went well and what failed. This is always a good thing to have in a stock alerts service.
6. A lot of alerts and trades throughout the day. It seems like they have a good success rate of 70% – 80% wins. You get to see all the trades live so there is no doubt that they are real trades being executed.
They have multiple scanners that are available to subscribers to view. The scanners that show you the top gainers/losers, or the spike can be obtained through some broker platforms, or Trade Ideas.
However, their pivots scanner is much more advanced.
I don’t think you can simply find this pivot scanner for free.
Why Don’t They Show Profit/Loss?
They claim that there is a reason they don’t show their P/L screen.
First, they argue that displaying their P/L screen doesn’t help subscribers become better traders; they emphasize only the percentage gain.
If you invest a large amount of capital, you’ll naturally make more. A smaller position size will, of course, result in less profit. So, why bother?
Second, there was a period when Dan actually showed his order screen and P/L. Let’s say he bids on a stock at $1.5, and the stock drops to $1.55 before bouncing back up – Dan won’t get filled.
He mentioned that subscribers would see his bidding price and then place their orders slightly higher, causing him not to get filled. While this scenario is possible (especially with this trading style), I’m not entirely convinced by this argument.
I am ALWAYS suspicious of day traders who livestream but don’t show their actual broker account as they trade.
Dan Parker TrueTrader.net Review: Cost
True Trader is not cheap. Currently, the price is $395 monthly which is one of the most expensive services I have seen.
However, their annual cost is extremely reasonable at the equivalent of just $99 a month. Weirdly, this makes me wonder why it is only 25% of the month-to-month cost.
I understand nice discounts for yearly memberships, but it makes me wonder if the reason for such a deep discount yearly might be because they have found that no one stays for more than a month or two. A yearly subscription might get them way more money.
Of course, this might be nonsense and they just want to give value for committed members!

Is True Trader a scam?
True Trader boasts numerous positive testimonials on both their website and YouTube Channel. Here are just a few examples.

True Trader Review: What is the WORST Problem with True Trader?
Misleading advertising poses a significant problem, in my opinion.
Furthermore, if you watch the True Trader seminar, you get the impression that they will provide you with the supply and demand zones where the big money players buy/sell.
They make it sound as if all you have to do is simply buy and sell in these zones.
However, in reality, it’s much more complicated than that. Dan also claims that you can simply piggyback on his trades, which is not the case.
The seminar primarily serves as a marketing tactic.
Nevertheless, their strategy works, the chat room community is good, and they are implementing many initiatives. It’s akin to a one-for-all package.

Dan Parker True Trader Review: Conclusions
True Trader seems like a legit stock alerts and education service. I really enjoy watching the recordings of the live trading sessions and I think new traders could get a lot out of that.
However, as previously mentioned it’s very tough to replicate the trades and I can tell you this style of trading isn’t exactly my cup of tea.

Honestly, I am having a lot of success with Kyle Dennis’s Fast5 Alerts and many of the new traders in my Facebook group are as well. Hi Kevin, thanks for the comment. I was going to join and write the review – that is normally what I do with these services. However, after watching Dan’s live training recordings on Youtube, I realized it is not what I am looking for. So I just researched it and wrote it up. The reason I am not joining is because the alerts are way too fast in real-time. It’s like out of the blue he will just frantically say ‘I’m in $XXX blah blah’ then 30 seconds later ‘I’m out $XXX. I am looking for alerts services that are a bit more laid back than that!
Russel, the pace can be fast, but you have access to their scanners to watch, as well as pivot point and good entry point plug-ins that his team has created, so you can make your own trades. He sometimes gets in and out of trades faster than I like to, but you don’t have to follow him exactly. (his style is large shares for a quick gain, but he no doubt has a lot more capital to risk than I do!) What I like is that he (and sometimes other members of his team) is calling out trades as he sees them, and will advise that if you are inexperienced or more conservative to stay away from some of the more riskier trades. Plus you have access to lots of trading experience as a few of the senior members of his team have a lot of experience having been floor traders on Wall St. many years ago. I have made consistent decent return following all their advice, and that is with only small amounts of money. What they have taught me is the confidence to start using larger amounts, and to fight the emotional fear and greed that can make many traders lose their money. I have found that when I follow their advice i make money, and when I give in to fear and greed, or go against their advice in other ways that I lose money. I would highly recommend their services to anyone who wants to learn more about day (and swing) trading with high degrees of confidence and success.

Hi John, yes opening a broker account is the first step to being able to trade stocks. You can find many broker accounts that don’t charge any commission for trades and some don’t require a minimum balance either. I started by joining a stock alerts service where I followed along with trade alerts and learned their strategy from their educational materials. This helped build my confidence and get my feet wet while I learned how to trade technical chart patterns etc. Unfortunately, it can be expensive in this industry to learn specific trading strategies etc.

Thanks for all the info and review, I am new to daily trades, had some stocks I held for over a year but now changing to daily trading, what are the tax implications, if a daily trader makes annual profit of say 100,000 dollars , what would be approximate tax exposure, I read some where daily trading attract more tax is that true?
I joined truetrader, they are a SCAM. Dan and company including Adrino results are probably all fabrivcated. They teach you to use TOS when they are using different platform like lighspeed. They are liars, avoid them!
Interesting. I know one guy that likes them. He is an experienced day trader and I think he is able to use the watch list or something. Overall I don’t really recommend them though.
I am reported misleading and false claims made by the site Truetrader.net. Their site has F rating with BBB. They do not have a phone number and can only communicate via email [email protected] They claim “trade secrets” for their stock scanner. This is a false calm. The scanner is part of brokerage software like lightspeed and others. They export to Excel with embedded formulas. None of their videos show closing profit/lose for trades but “points”. The “live” replay videos are intentionally poor quality that you cannot see what is on their trading screen. I believe they are using the OneDemand (not available on paper money) feature of thinkorswim for back testing. None of their trades show a profit/loss for day. They claim investment day trading profits to lure unsuspecting consumer via Youtube ads and then sell you “educational” materials on monthly auto renewing fee. This site is nothing more than credit card mill operation which will cost the consumer a minimum of 395 USD. Use your stimulus funds if you really want to see what they are truly selling. The perfect scammers paradise and the classic bait and switch operation. Riley Park at 307-200-2803 is their TrueTrader LLC authorized representative so “Dan” can avoid lawsuits directly. I filed a complaint with Office of the Attorney General Consumer Protection Unit Kendrick Building 2320 Capitol Avenue Cheyenne, WY 82002 to report this scammer. I called the scammer out by asking asked if he filed Schedule D and 1099-B which would show under section 1d Proceeds (Gross proceeds less commissions). No reply of course. The “profit” charts on the webinar are fakes when it would be easier to produce a 1099-B statement. He doesn’t have one since he is a hack scammer. What he did was back tested those results and imported into Excel. Stay the hell away from this scammer and TurdTrader LLC. Your suspicions are absolutely valid.

I am wanting to get into day trading but I would like something that gives multiple trades a day. Not just one per week likeyou suggested thru Kyle Dennis fast 5 trades. What other recommendations would you say that I could use?? Wher I can make a few trades a day, make some money but not have to be going @ light speed to follow along like True Trader shows in his videos.
Hi Rick, I am signed up for Trade With Kyle and Jason Bond Picks. The number of trades per day varies a lot from 5+ to just 1 a day if the market is weak. I make money with both of those services.
I have been a full member of TrueTrader.net for a few months now and I can say this whole team cares deeply about helping its subscribers learn how to day trade with minimized risk. They spend a lot of their time helping their users in a multitude of ways. I never thought I would ever be a confident day trader but now, using their methods, and after trading real money for only a couple months, I am finding my own trades and having good results. I have found that it is when I don’t follow their strategy that I tend to start losing money! I still trade with small amounts because I am still learning, but I have had very good results with them. If you are interested in learning how to day trade I would 100% recommend Truetrader.net. Here is my honest review about true trader…. I joined truetrader.net for a few months ago. In the begging it was good and it was hard to catch up Dan speed but after a few months real cluster f””k started when he started handing over to anthonio and other stupid guy I do not want to say his name. Anthonio just talk talk and talk.. can not stop his things that how much he is succesful and how many business he has.. and other guy (M) have majority of losing trades a d rude like fuck.. I left the room because it was getting cluster fuck . My advice it could be so much succesful if only Dan run the room and keep other showbiz alway from the room. If someone want to really clutter fuck show biz.. welcome to join this room.
