Gareth got started in high school with a trading game. After studying economics Gareth worked as a financial planner but realized his heart wasn’t in it.
So, he just quit with $10k to his name and he decided he would just go and try to learn how to trade. He found a prop firm that gave him 5x leverage. He worked three jobs (bar tending, teaching etc.).
He lost a lot of money along the way but eventually he began how to get the hang of it. He learned how to read charts.
He met Nick Santiago and together they came up with the strategy that they use to this day.

Gareth Soloway Trading Review: Trading Strategy
Gareth is a swing trader. He uses something he calls Price Pattern and Time (PPT).
Price he looks at things like gaps fills, double tops, trend lines.
Patterns are things like bull/bear flags or head and shoulders patterns.
Time factors in as ‘time counts’ when you study the charts you see a stock goes up for a certain number of candles you generally see a price reversal after a certain period of time.
Combining all of these factors he claims an 80% win-rate. He looks at Fibonacci levels as well as RSI and combines all of the above to help narrow down his stock selection.
He doesn’t use a lot of indicators.
His swing trades tend to be a few week holds.
Gareth Soloway Trader Review: InTheMoneyStocks
Gareth teaches his strategies at InTheMoneyStocks where he offers a variety of trading services at different price points.
The services are well reviewed on TrustPilot. The services start at $99 so very affordable. At the other end of the price scale they offer a course for $4,000.
Gareth’s nightly market overview is probably worth the money for the service on its own.
Although he often engages in trading behavior that I was told to avoid, such as averaging into a losing position, his success confirms that it works for him — almost every time!
He consistently closes positions with a gain and proves why he’s so effective at what he does. I’ve seen claims of 10% a month profits from subscribers.
They also have a day trading service as well as a swing trading service. However, the swing trading service is the meat and potatoes of the company.
When trading these picks, you must cultivate patience in order to allow your strategies to reach their full potential and reap the rewards.
This can be an arduous task initially, but it’s proven time and again that trades have a strong chance of succeeding when given enough time.
The only downside is that sometimes, depending on the trade, it can take up to three months for a trade to work out.
However, this problem can easily be solved by limiting their exposure and following the advice of experienced traders.

Gareth Soloway Trader Review: Conclusions
Gareth Soloway is a master of swing trading. He’s an experienced, passionate trader who knows how to read the markets and make profitable trades.
He risks only what he can afford to lose and continues to work on his strategies everyday. His strategies are well-thought out and proven over time.
InTheMoneyStocks provides a number of services which range from $99-$4000 but they appear to be worth the money, especially if you want to learn Gareth’s trading methods or just get access to his nightly market overviews.
Overall, Gareth Soloway is an experienced trader that has found success with his PPT strategy. We would highly recommend him for anyone looking for assistance in their trading career.
Gareth Soloway is a great example of how you can learn from others and develop your own unique strategies that work for you. He’s proven that by following a strategy and having patience, anyone can be successful in trading.
