Steven was born in 1994 in Chongqing, China. Chongqing is not one of the coastal cities in China that most of us are familiar with.
Chongqing is a large and industrialized city, but it is not as well-known as Beijing or Shanghai.
Steven’s family was not wealthy, and they struggled to make ends meet. As a result, Steven had to start working at a young age. He started out doing odd jobs and eventually started working in the stock market.

He describes his youth as difficult, yet exciting. His mother, from a lower-income neighborhood, sought to take advantage of the expanding economy and eventually opened a little store that catered to the locals.
The business expanded and flourished. This was Steven’s first lesson in small business!
Steven’s father borrow money from Steven’s mother to invest in property. It appears that Steven’s father made a killing off of this deal.
Unfortunately, Steven’s father never repaid his mother for the loan she provided him.
He also deserted the family once he had acquired money, which I guess is a harsh lesson on how individuals can deteriorate when they obtain money.
So, obviously Steven had an interesting childhood that had some entrepreneurial flavor to it.

Steven Dux Review: Timothy Sykes Connection
He was looking for a way to learn English online, and he had barely mastered the language himself.
He came upon Timothy Sykes online (back in the day when Tim was flaunting the good old orange Lamborghini, mansion and girls etc.).
During college, Steven became even more engaged in the stock market. He then raises his initial investment of $20k to $100k by actively trading stocks.
Following that, he published his track record onto Profit.ly and Tim Sykes is alerted to what’s going on.
What happened with Tim Sykes and Steven Dux is not that clear. It seems like he learned a lot from him (if you look through his earlier YouTube videos).

From what I can see, Steven Dux uses a discretionary trading style. He doesn’t really have any hard and fast rules that he follows, but instead relies on his intuition and experience to guide his trades.
In particular, he is known for his extensive use of spreadsheets and analysis of his previous trades to guide his trading.
This makes him a bit of a controversial figure in the trading world, as many people believe that day trading can only be done successfully if you have a strict set of rules to follow.

He is probably best known for shorting penny stocks, which is a risky proposition but one that can be very profitable if done correctly.
Steven has had some very impressive gains from shorting penny stocks, and it is definitely one of his specialties.
Steven is one of the most successful short sellers in this industry. He shorts the terrible stocks that pumpers have artificially inflated in price.
Steven Dux short selling strategy is simple. He looks for stocks with high short interest, high borrow fees, and a history of recent pumps.
These are the stocks that are most likely to crash when the pumper eventually gives up on them.
